Secure the tube and bag as shown; avoid kinks, twists and snagging clothes.
Observe
Check drainage and the entry site. Keep the dressing clean and dry as instructed.
Empty
Wash hands, empty before completely full, then check closure.
Keep follow-up
Keep replacement appointments. Flushing requires a specific instruction and a trained person.
